Become a eRG member Following its mission, eRG undertakes consistent action in order to attract new members and we have already engaged discussions with prominent IT and banking companies, media and advertising sector, as well as civil society organizations for them to join eRG in its efforts to accomplish its goals. Our members will: support better development outcomes run projects in cooperation with eRG help mobilize funds supply content make the Gateway a "meeting place" for user communities. Being a member of eRG means getting involved in a dynamic new environment dedicated to promoting sustainable development of all sectors within a comprehensive framework based on the effective, inovative use of ICTs How to become a member Legal persons wishing to acquire membership after the set up of the Association, must fulfill the following requirements: Know and agree with the provisions of the Association's Statute; Express their determination in supporting the achievement of the Association's purpose; Develop activities compatible with Association's objectives; Have a good reputation in their field of activity; Obtain favorable recommendations from at least two partners (founding members) In order to receive membership in the Association, the applicant must submit a written request to the Steering Board (the Association's managing body). Upon receiving the request, the Steering Board examines it in the next session, formulates consultative opinion and calls the General Assembly to decide upon the request. Membership in the Association is granted upon the General Assembly decision, in the presence of the applicant or his/her representative, based on the consultative opinion of the Steering Board, provided the applicant makes an initial deposit, decided by the General Assembly, in the Association's bank account.
