Partners include providers of content, funding, technology services, and other contributions. eRG itself is an open partnership and interested organizations can become topic guides, serve as advisors, provide funding, and sponsor joint learning/training events. As well, the projects run by the association are developed in partnership with relevant stakeholders in the respective fields of interest. eRG can host other organizations' web sites, provide software and hardware solutions for potential partners, utilize the technological platform which allows for the flow of information among Country Gateways internationally. eRG partners can also use the content developed by the other 36 Country Gateways from Europe, Asia, Africa and Latin America. Guiding principles for partnership under the Gateway include commonality of objectives in the service of sustainable development and poverty alleviation, pluralism of opinion, complementarity of different comparative advantages, and agreement regarding mutual obligations. Partners can participate by providing content, technology, products, services, or funding.
