:: Official Documents Knowledge Platform - Concept
paper
Justification
One of the initial objectives of the Romania
Development Gateway project, adopted by the eRomania
Gateway Association too, is to support e-Government initiatives.
A first step in this respect is the improvement of the communication
between citizens and governmental structures. Currently in Romania
there is a lot of official information available on line. Yet this
information is scattered in such a manner that sometimes it is impossible
to find.
Therefore the creation of a reference guide on the main official
documents available is essential. This task can be very much facilitated
by the fact that the Department for Institutional
and Social Analysis represents the Government, as founding
member, within the Association. The Department coordinates all activities
related to the drawing up of governmental documents. The Department
is also responsible with communicating the official documents to
other structures.

in Romania
- A forum dedicated to the dissemination of official information
The databases' structure and the design will be decided after consultations
with the Romanian Government and with the main governmental structures
generating official information (e.g. The Ministry of Public Information)
